Borussia Dortmund's sporting director has revealed the club's stance on signing Jadon Sancho again this summer.

Sancho has enjoyed two spells with the Bundesliga club and a third has been rumoured after he returned to Manchester United at the end of his loan spell with Chelsea. However, club chief Sebastian Kehl has dismissed the idea that the club are prioritising his signing.

Kehl told reporters: "Of course, contact with Jadon is always there in some way because we have a very long history. But it’s not an issue for us right now. We have other priorities at the moment and that’s why the Sancho issue was probably played up more in the media than discussed internally."

Sancho is a favourite at Dortmund having scored 53 goals and assisted 67 in 157 appearances for the club. He has had less success in the Premier League, with Chelsea prepared to pay a £5m penalty for not converting his loan deal into a permanent one after he netted three league goals for them.
