The former Crystal Palace star handed the Bavarian side the lead at the stroke of half-time with a world-class strike from inside the box. The winger received a long pass from compatriot Dayot Upamecano on the right wing. He swiftly switched the ball to his stronger left foot as he cut inside the penalty area before launching a thunderous strike which went past Kasper Schmeichel.

Harry Kane then doubled the lead for the German giants as he scored four minutes after the break. Japanese winger Daizen Maeda then pulled one back for the Scottish side but Bayern held on to their lead to pick up a crucial 2-1 away win in the two-legged Champions League play-off tie.
