Former Manchester United manager David Moyes still believes he should have been given more time to get things right at Old Trafford, as reported by talkSPORT.
The Scot left his post at Goodison Park in order to take over from Sir Alex Ferguson at United after the legendary manager’s retirement. Even though he was Ferguson’s own first choice candidate to take the job, Moyes was sacked in April 2014, having only been in the role for 10 months.

The Red Devils have not been able to compete for either the Champions League or Premier League title since Ferguson left them as champions of England. Neither Louis van Gaal or current boss Jose Mourinho have been able to restore United to their former glory.
In fact, with United currently in seventh place under the Portuguese boss, the club are currently no better off than they were under Moyes. Had the former Everton boss been given longer, he may have lived up to the expectations Ferguson had of him.
In our poll, 61% of the United fans to take part stated that they also believe that Moyes should have been shown more patience. See the full results below.
